摘要: Assignment of the flow rates at a junction is the key point for macroscopic modeling and simulation of traffic flow on a road network, which is known as the Junction Riemann problem (JRP). This talk revisits the JRP in both the LWR and CHO models, by maximizing an arbitrarily given linear convex combination of the incoming flows. In the former case, the Riemann solver is the case in which the sum of incoming flows is maximized. In the latter case, the Riemann solver is derived from that in the LWR model by taking the advantage of being “highly consistent” between the two models. The two cases are all extension of the existing modles. And These Riemann solvers should indicate much flexibility for comparison with observed data.

报告人:张鹏,上海大学应用数学与力学所教授博导。主要从事交通流理论分析和工程应用。

他对交通流方面的主要学术贡献有:the mathematical theory, which includes the analytical properties in (1) the higher-order model; (2) the multi-class model; and (3) the models with discontinuous fluxes or inhomogeneous road conditions. 从2003年以来在J. Comput. Phys., Euro. J. Appl. Math., Numer. Meth. Partial Diff. Equ., SIAM J. Appl. Math., Appl. Numer. Math., J Comput. Appl. Math., Phys. Rev. E, Trans. Res. Part B,在内的国际核心刊物上发表SCI论文30多篇.
